Home At Last...

So, at last we are home. It feels good to be back in Cali. Yet I realy miss Hawai'i...
I had almost forgoten how cold winters are supposto be, lol. I was quickly reminded as soon as I got off the plain, lol. Our first few days were very fun, spent catching up with friends and family. Everyone of course was happy to see Lilo, and meet Elle.

Now a week after we've arrived, and who would have guessed.... I'm sick!.... Oh boy!... I haven't had a cold, or been this missrabley sick in years. The dogs are deff not happy about this either. I have liturly been stuck on my couch for two days now. Luckly my dogs are very understanding, and have been very patient with me. But, I have a feeling for not much longer. lol.

Tomarrow is Thanksgiving, meaning the dogs noses will be going hay-wire lol. And knowing my mother, there bellys will too. Lucky my mom knows what they can and can not have. lol. I'm just praying I'll feel good enough to help with anything at all, and get the dogs out to run before people start coming over.
Lucky, my mom lives in a very rural area, and there is plenty of room for the girls to just run free. =)

Well it's late, and I am beat, so I'll try and have some pictures up tomarrow. =)
Night!

So tonight is our last night in our house. and on Tuesday we should be back in Cali. =) Due to the fact that the movers took my video camera cords, i wont be able to make videos any time soon and becuase they took all my agility equipment as well=(... TWO MORE WEEKS!!!

Only two more weeks and we will be moving back home to Nor Cal. I am so ready to be back home with my friends and family...but... yes there is a but, I am going to miss this place. The weather for one, the year round warmth, the warm rainy days. The beach for sure is going to be a big miss. My tan! oh how I will miss my tan :( lol. But most of all I am going to miss the few Realy Super Awesomely Amazing friends I have made here.

I will miss my morning smoke with Ashley, our daily chats, her stuborn, but so sweet n cute kid Lexi (3) and mostly our dogys playing together, I am going to miss her dogys, both American Bulldogs. Kammi, Lilo's very first friend out here, and the reason Ashley and I became friends. I have watched her grow from a skittish little puppy into a beautiful loveing dog. And Hank, lol. oh Hank, lol. he is the cutest, most loveing, bouncey not so little any more guy, he had developed quite an eye for my Elle, lol.

I am most deff going to miss my friend Sherri! Our lazy days at the beach, watching her kids, Gracey and Jake and all eight of the foster kids play on the beach, while our Hubbys went spear fishing. She has such a big heart! Always there to lend a helping hand, ear, or words of advice. I will miss our weekend adventures, seeing new beaches, hiking, dinners, girl days, and just her company :) .

Dispite missing so many things and people, I think Dustin and I both are ready for home. Ready to see our old "homies" our family. I am going to be glad to see some snow, but am dreading the pouring down stuck in the house rainy days (the dogs will deff not be likeing that). Elle I am sure is going to LOVE the cold weather, and it will be amuseing to see how much more energy she will have, from not over heating in her coat without the heat. Lilo on the other hand could realy care less about the cold. I myself am not a fan of the cold.

There is a lot to look forward to being home though. Dustin will be starting school soon, I will be takeing a few photography classes, and working. Elle will be starting her stock dog training. I can't wait for that! She has such an amazing drive, thats all she does, if it moves, shes one it. She is so fast, can turn on a dime, and has amazing focus. I am hoping I can take this as far as posible with her. I would realy love to do trials and compeate :).

Lilo and I have taken up running again, and will be doing a 6 mile run, in the Thanksgiveing Turkey Trot when we get home :). I am also considering her for herding aswell, but I'm not so sure how she would do? But it would be a great way to stay bussy, as we will be without all our stuff, (agility equipment, furniture, bed, tv, etc.) for the first month we are home, as it all has to be shipped. ugh. I would at least like to have her instinct tested :) and we will go from there I guess.

The only problem I seem to be haveing right now is just finding a house that will alow two dogs, in our price range. But I have stressed enough about that and am no longer pullin my hair out over it. lol. When the time is right we will find a place.
I realy miss my little sister too, I can't wait to see her, we're not getting home tell super late at night, but she begged to stay over with us when we get in so of course I told her yes! lol. She's four years younger then me, but sence we were babies we have been connected at the hip. First night home will be awesome :).

Well I suppose that's it for now, Tomarow we are going hikeing all day with Sherri and the Fam, I will have pictures, and maybe be makeing a video. So they will be up soon and a video on our youtube channel. :)

Night All. ;)

Happy Birthday Lilo

Okay so I know this is a few days late but, October 11, was Lilo's 2nd Birthday!!! We had such a fun day!
First we took a trip to PetCo. to get some dog food, and crickets for the hubbys chamaleons. Me and the girls played with all the toys and tryed on some Halloween costumes. =) then we got Lilo a new soccer ball for her gift and I made a Bow Wow Beef and Bacon Cake. We played for a few hours with her new toy, then had her dogy friends from next door come over and have some cake with her and Elle. Man I've never seen them all eat so fast lol.

Lilo posing with her new toy. <3

Lilo and Elle lookin oh so cute.

Elle eating Cake!
Well I'll have to add more pictures later, my computer is being realy frustrateing... or the internet.

But on a different note, Lilo's agility is comeing along so well. I realy couldn't be happier. =) Check out our YouTube page, link is on the side bar, She is just amazing me with all her progress. And she is realy enjoying it so much.
Elle is also showing signs of intrest in it, although she is to young to realy get into it, but she has fun jumping the small jump bars, and she is loveing the tunnel, She has even got the "Go Tunnel" command down. =)

But I also have something different in mind for Elle. I have contacted a StockDog trainer back in Cali. She has invited us to come out when we get home, and join in a class. Then from there she will let us disside exacally what we would like to do with her. I am super excited about all of this =)... only 28 days tell we'll be back home in Cali =))...

Oh and another thing, today I built my own Weave Poles, Its 6 poles, but I am going to add on another 6 soon I hope, Lilo is likeing them alot. I also spray painted them and my jumps tonight, its like a purplie-blue color. I realy love it. And I wraped some yellow ducktape around them. Will have pictures soon. They look amazeing. =)

well I think thats about it for now, sorry I am or horrible Blogger, but our internet has been horribly slow lately. Also its not so motivateing when you have no followers... So I'll ask, please follow and I will update more often.

Updates!

So, yes, I am a horrible Blogger. Just so many things always going on. Hard to keep track of Everything.
But we have been haveing some real fun lately. Lilo is coming along great in our agility training, i made a jump from PVC pipes, baught a new tunnel(Elle distroyed the old one) and this week we have been learning the weave poles with Lilo. So, yes, consider it a bussy few weeks. lol. Also, I know no one care, but I only have two days left of work and them I'm off for a whole month before we move back to Cali, yay. Just means LOTS more time for training Lilo on agility, and Elle on everything elts. lol.
And means I will have time to get my butt back into shape, going to start running again, going to the gym, and eating good food(aka NOT papa john's pizza, that where I work at the moment lol). So all exciteing news, I would think anyways.

well here are some pics...=)
She is such an amazing dog....<3

Lilo haveing a GREAT time.

Elle also gave it a go.

I have a feeling, She'll be my next star. =)
and just some lazy dogs.... lol.....

Lilo's idea of comfertable.

Elle's idea of comfertable. lol.
Also, please check out our youtube page for some new videos recently posted. I will soon (in a week or so) have another video up of Lilo's weave work and full course work.
I must say I am soooo impressed by her weave, its only been a week sence we started working with the weave poles and she is already doing six poles in a straight line.
We learned useing the 2x2 method, which I HIGHLY recommend!

I will try my best to keep this updated as much as postible, It would be a little more motivating if I had more followers, but I guess thats just the way the cookie crumbles. But, I will still ask, Please follow, and if your on YouTube, please subscribe(most active on youtube).
Thanks!!!
Have a GREAT night all.

P.S.
Elle is now 7 months old as of Sep, 24.
and Lilo will be 2 years old on Oct, 11. =)

Long week already, & its only Wensday!

Well, we have been doing a whole lot of nothing realy, just same ol' boring everyday stuff. Just cleaning house, working, and keeping the dogs tired out.
Today was a good day tho, got up at 7am, hubby made breakfast =), tired the dogs out a bit, and then off to work. Work was slow however and so they sent me home early, which was great cause I came home and played with my girls, hung out with the neighbor, made dinner, AND found some awesome plans to make my own agility equipment. =)
So now just have to get threw the rest of the week of work tell my only day off on Sunday, and go get all the stuff I'll need.

Oh and I think I may have found my girls new Herding Trainer, just waiting for a call back. ugh I so hate waiting. lol.

well enough of me rambleing I am super tired, Elle's on her bed chewing on a bone, and Lilo, of course is fast asleep cuddled up between my legs. So bed time..... Tell next time. =)

This weekend was a blast! Spent the whole saturday at the beach with good friends and Elle. Lilo had to miss out, she is just to crazy and everywhere for a crowded beach. I am working with her on that however. =)

Well, we body surfed, and caught A LOT of sun, too much sun. lol. My poor husband looks like a lobster from the back lol, and me well I'm not that bad but bad enough were I dred the hot shower. lol

Elle of course had fun digging in the sand, saying "Hi" to everyone and anyone that walked by. I lost count of how many people came by asking what kind of dog she is and where I got her. lol. She always attracks a lot of attention. =)
The day started off HOT, Elle finding some shade under the body board.

Cute smile from my pup.

Watching the kids play.

Meet The Family

So last weekend we had the chance to meet up with Elles' mom and brother, Alo-alo and Whyett. It was so much fun! We met up at a local dog park. It was amazing how they all instently remember eachother. Elle and Whyett instently started licking and playing eachother. Once Alo-alo showed up, it was straight into mommy mode again, lol. She came and said her hellos, then made sure her pup's new she was still boss, and put them in there place. lol.
Lilo also join in on some family fun. We spent hours there watching them play and reconect.
Enjoy the pictures!

Elle and I have been working on Fetch! Can you believe it? I have never had such a hard time getting a dog motivated to fetch. She would much rather just herd Lilo around lol. But I did figure out how to get her interested and will being adding that to the video aswell. She is also working on her weave threw my legs and her stay. Which she is amazing at so far! =)

Well, for now that is it, it's getting late and Girls want to go for there walk now. =)

Introducing...

Well I suppose I should start this Blog off by introducing you to my two furry friends that this blog was intended for...
So first there's Lilo... Well I could probley go on forever about her, but I'll try to keep it short and sweet =). Lilo is a Border Collie/Heeler Cross, I basically rescued her when she was about 5 weeks old, almost lost her due to sickness many times as a pup, but she pulled through, and is healthy as can be now. However she is very accident prone, I wont go into details just yet but I will say our Vet knows us a little too well. he he he...
Lilo has been my P.I.C. (partner in crime) for almost two years now. I can hardly believe it. Lilo has been by my side through it all, literualy... She has taught me a lot about myself and about life. We have learned a lot of things together, includeing many cool tricks. you can check out our youtube page for the videos(link on page).

Now it's Elle's turn...

Well, Elle was basically a very well thought out and planed puppy. I just couldnt go threw all the heart aches, scares and near death experiences that I went threw with Lilo, not to mention the vet bills. So I did my research and found a wonderful lady, who just happend to have a prego Australian Shepherd. Well months later I brought her home, and her and Lilo hit it off.
Elle is still a puppy so I still have much to teach her and her teach me. Elle just hit the 5 month mark today. She is a very smart, energetic, average puppy. Although she is very smart I would like to say she is a kind of clueless-smart. lol. But she is catching on quickly to her training, and is growing like a weed.

Although, I hate to say, that Elle and I don't have that bond yet like Lilo and I. However, Lilo and I had a lot more one on one time. And I have been makeing it a point latley to have that one on one time with her. Lilo is never too happy about it, but it is something that needs to be astablished at an early age.
Elle sure is a character, she is very sweet and loveing. A very cuddly puppy for sure. She gives her all in everything she does, which I love most. Not to mention she turns head where ever we go. =)

Lilo and Elle

This bloging thing may take me some time to perfect...
But my whole idea for this blog is to keep stories about my week to week, if not day to day, life with my two wonderful dogs, Lilo and Elle.
